Remembering Stonewall: 38 Years Ago Today
1. To all those who, 38 years ago, had the immense courage to say ENOUGH...I honor you and thank you for that courage and will always regard you as heroes. I have never put myself so publicly on the line, my struggles were always in private, but it was you who gave me the courage, at 19 in 1976, to come out to everyone because I loved a man. And it has been the most worthwhile journey I could ever imagine. As I begin the second act of this musical of my life at 50, the beat gets louder and stronger, all because of you, really. The fight is not over by a longshot, but I have hope, and the thoughts of what you must have gone through, give me hope that we can keep going.

2. Congrats to all those brave people, and this should be a sign to anyone too aftaid to come out that it's okay! Sure people may not accept you, and you're still going to geta lot of haters, but there are people who don't care, and people who will support you every step of the way! So go for it! It was way worth it.

Posted at 6:19AM on Jun 30th 2007 by Still Cant Come Out
9. To be persecuted for one's sexual preference is just wrong. Every human being has the right to love whomever they please. I personally respect the rights of the gay community, they do have the right to be happy. March on!!!!!

10. Hey commentor #7!? aka Daniel the nazi?!
Why not be proud to be differnet, the point is we are a minority and you are the majority, there would be no point int being proud of being a majority.
