"Cause Havin' Two Chicks Is Better Than No Chicks." - Amen, Fabolous. Amen.
(Ray Lavender & Fabolous "My Girl Got a Girlfriend")
I don't know whether to laugh or cry, but I do know that my favorite part is: "Bust in da do' and see my girl wit'a chick."
Haha...well there ya go. I could see how that could be shocking, Ray.
All of the lyrics are amazing, really. Some could argue that it's a work of art. I won't. But some could.
Oh and two snaps for mentioning my new favorite sitcom, "Girlfriends" in the first few bars.
1. I'm not one to over analyze rap or hiphop or r&b for that matter....buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut....why is it that guys think they can get all up with two chicks??! It's aight as long as I can join in?!?! WTF! Your chick was cheatin on you!
Ok that's my two cents...

2. Girl-on-girl recognition in Hip-Hop? Screw that the dude thinks he has a shot, I'll take it. It's a step forward... At least he doesn't beat her or something.

3. My question is... if his girl is cheeting on him with a another woman... what makes him this she really still wants him?? Obviously this woman is giving her something he isn't.

4. while the chicks were hot, all the cutting back in w/ the guys was not. they are not giving the 'okay' to lesbians, they are just flaunting this over the top macho attitude that i think is pretty offensive to women, gay or not. to me, the attitude of the video is just sleazy and porno-ish...it's just feeding their already larger than life egos. but it's all ok because it's girls...had this had anything to do w/ gay men, well...it wouldn't have existed. i'm just so sick of the hip hop community's attitude toward glbt people. *sigh* sorry, end of rant.
you're awesome arlan. keep it coming.

5. Yeah, I have to say something about this, too. Even though the "lesbian" theme could seem pretty progressive at first glance... As I think about it more the question that comes to mind is: Why was this guy was so willing to brush aside the fact that she was cheating? It sends the message that it doesn't count when it is with a girl. Why? If there is no man involved it is not real sex?
Just another debatable criticism. Feel free to respond...

6. Heh somebody on my bus was singing this a few days ago....

7. I don't really feel like its really offensive, but it just shows how naive this guy can be, thinking that he would automatically be welcome in a threesome with these two women. I also found the response of "I'm ready to kill someone" to "oh, its a girl... well, thats ok then" to be fairly silly.
And as for the comment that the other girl must be giving her something that the man isn't... not necessarily. She may simply be polyamorous.

9. Yeah, the guy is kinda naive there. He thinks that the girlfriend is going to naturally say "alright" to the sharing of said girlfriend. I have to agree with the aforementioned that it is some macho "every vagina is mind" crap and I think that needs to go. Now, if they have a song about how his girlfriend dumped him for a girl and it is a possitive song, then we can talk.

10. Imagine that.....a billion girls and one guy responding to this...first off...ya'll are forgetting, he aint in this for love, he's a G, just in it for the amazing sex, which will now be even more amazing (double the pleasure double the fun!!) so, as far as the cheating and naive stuff, HE DONT CARE! and ladies...sorry if it offends you...obvioulsy THEY were ok with doin it for the video!

11. this video is cheezy. i like the song but not with the rap. what makes this guy think that they are going to let him join in. i know a lot of guys think their girl will let him have a threesome. but what if his girlfriend wants to have another guy and him. of course no guy would go for that. he should actually be mad that his girlfriend was cheating on him. even if it was with another girl it is still cheating. i got together with a girl when i had a boyfriend and he got so pissed.
12. ...i thought T-Pain sang this...
Posted at 3:57PM on Sep 16th 2007 by bored23
13. yeah...i thought T-Pain did too..whats up with this...remake? T-Pain is much better

14. I actually like the video ,I and it's funny,I actually had a relationship where my girl had a girlfriend and the funny part is I was messing around with the girlfriend before I met my girl so nothings impossible.I mean people are accepting gay and lesbian relationships but people start complaining when the dude wants to join in wtf?,people get a life and guess after taking the time out to write this I'll have to get one too

15. My problem with this is the guy thinks the 2 women need him or assumes they're missing a dude. Gross.
I think they're rapping about 2 bi chicks. Because that makes a hell of a lot more sense. Sorta, haha.

16. I love rap and hip hop and all, but they r really disrespecting not only woman, but each other. Is the guy too into sex to see that he was so pitiful, his gurl is cheating on him...with a woman or not...Wat if she was cheatin on him w/ a man..then thats when he'd get mad? But since its a woman...its all right...
Wow....we got to do better

17. To quote Joe: he aint in this for love, he's a G, just in it for the amazing sex, which will now be even more amazing (double the pleasure double the fun!!
Does it make it alright then? Music is suppose to be positive and unite people from all over the world. Does it make everything ok to portray lesbian relations in this way because "He's a G?" The whole industry needs to clean up its act and start talking bout real things-not the material and not the sex.
