Kindness Is Good and Homosexuals Are Kind.
"The movement is afoot to include positive portrayals of homosexuals and the transgendered in all textbooks from kindergarten on up. I have no objections to textbooks including the important invention or discovery of a homosexual or transgender person so long as their homosexuality or transgenderism is not mentioned."
That's pretty Christian of the Dingbats for Truth. They don't mind that homosexuals are important inventors and scientists, they just don't want anyone to know about it. They won't tell you, but I will. There are so many queer scientists in Los Angeles, they have they're own website, Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Scientists.
Guess what? We're not just good at science! And the Dingbats for Truth aren't the only Christians on the block!
Louise Abbéma (1858-1927), French painter
Bernice Abbott (1898-1991), U.S. photographer
J.R. Ackerly (Joe Randolph Ackerly, 1896-1967), British writer
Abu Nuw·s (756?-810), Arabian poet
Nick Adams (Nicholas Adamschock, 1931-1968), U.S. actor
Jane Addams (1866-1935), U.S. social reformer
Baron Jacques d'Adelsward Fersen (1880-1923), French writer
James Agate (1877-1942), British critic
Agathon (450?-400? B.C.E.), Greek playwright and musician
Akhenaton (ruled 1375?-1358? B.C.E.), Egyptian pharoah
Edward Albee (1928- ), U.S. playwright*
Giulio Alberoni (1664-1752), Italian statesman
Alcibiades (450?-404 B.C.E.), Greek general
Alexander I (1777-1825), Russian ruler
Alexander the Great (356-323 B.C.E.), Macedonian general and ruler
I have listed a handful of famous queers just to whet your appetite. There are millions more. Go look for yourselves, because you won't find out about it from the Dingbats For Truth. Just so you know, I looked at the Dingbats Website and they are not truthful. They're just hateful. Dumbledore is Gay and every kid in the world knows it now. If you think I'm happy about that, you should see Tinky-Winky. He's purple with pride.
Honestly, I'm worried about the Dingbats for Truth and the Concerned Church Ladies of America. All this outing is making their blood pressure rise, and god knows, there's nothing scarier than an angry church lady. Let's pray for them to control their tempers and their appetites. Whatever their appetites may be. By the way, most homosexuals are kind. Just not me. Now praise the lord and pass the Harry Potter!
1. It's either wife-swap or MTV's a shot at love. Not sure.

2. My God that women is crazy. She's scaring her own kids.
What show was that from? It looks like wife-swap.

4. She's the crazy God warrior bitch! It's wife-swap. She's a completely crazy bitch. Almost worse then Shirley Phelps-Roper. Almost.

5. Hey, crazy or not, she is a woman convicted in her beliefs. Or so I thought until the last few seconds of the video. $20k on her gastric bypass? Apparently $50k is worth treading across the line in the concrete she scratched with her words. Her family was visibly shocked at her behavior.
Now...in her defense - and PLEASE understand I am using that term very loosely, here - she clearly had an experience that was nothing like anything she'd ever had before. The inconsistencies in her behavior are clear, and site quetionable emotional stability: a Christian woman going on a program about swapping wives (in the name of entertainment, that's STILL against Christian law, sex or not); accepting a significant amount of money to leave your own Christ-based family in the care of a stranger - and, in essence, reneging on an agreement (again, not a Christian principle); throwing a hissy fit in front of cameras and crew, destroying a contract and throwing crew out of a house during taping -- and then, having a change of heart, reconsidering for the financial gain of said thrower of the fit.
I ask you, if gays are kind, then thank GOD I'm gay! Never, in all my days, have I seen such inconsistent behavior in Christ-serving Christians.
Oy.....

6. OH yeah.... and I had to look up the word "syllogism". It was an experience of confuse clarity, the likes of which I hope to never experience again any time soon.

7. We may give more support to GLBT. They are just different lifestyle.

8. Joyce - I have no idea what a "lifestyle" is. A TV show hosted by Robin Leach? Lifestyles don't need to be supported. People do.

9. "They don't mind that homosexuals are important inventors and scientists, they just don't want anyone to know about it."
What if, in all children's textbooks, the writers went out of their way to mention which scientists were Christian? How about which ones were married, which ones had 3 sons and a daughter?
Randomly mentioning which scientists and inventors were gay makes as much sense. Sexual orientation, like religion and other parts of personal lives, is pretty ancillary to a textbook's historical blurb about a scientist/inventor/mathematician/etc.

10. I have a link to the site, which you obviously didn't bother to read. I will help you.
"To mention it suggests that somehow their deviant sexual impulses are connected or relevant to their discovery, invention, or contribution to learning. And supporters of subversive sexuality know this. They know that associating the deviant sexual orientation or identity with something positive will irrationally transform society%uFFFDs perception of the deviant sexuality."
Gee, V, you think that why they don't mention Christian, married, 3 sons? A positive association with gay doesn't fit with their child molester ad campaign. http://www.traditionalvalues.org/homosexual_movement_and_pedophilia/

11. Maybe the dingbats should try Eastlake Community Church in Kirkland, WA, where EVERYONE is welcome, epecially folks just out of the "BURNED BY CHURCH" ward!

12. As a straight woman still grieving from the very tragic suicide of my gay sister-in-law which was due in large part to unacceptance by her "Christian" sisters, I had to email them this entry as well as the Dingbats for ... whatever website noting this revelation.
They spent years trying to "convert" her to the hetero way of life even though she was beautiful as she was, they just could not see it through their narrow vision and even narrower minds.
I have read scores of her journals and their unacceptance is a reoccuring theme, of course I was also the one that had the task of taking care of all of her final business since they could not be bothered.
The real kicker was when at the "Christian" memorial the pastor stated "even though we are here to honor Jenny's memory, she was gay and is destined to hell by her lifestyle she was still loved by many." I stood up told the preacher to f*** off and walked out.
I think that gays are loving, kind and amazing. The world would do well to have many more.
13. I support GLBT.
