TV - In week 1 of the live shows, Kandy Rain lost out to Rachel Adedeji. Week 2 was diva week, and although some people thought that this would be the week that the twins John and Edward would be voted out, they somehow turned things around with their tongue-in-cheek performance of Britney's 'Oops I did it Again', complete with red PVC suits.
Unfortunately, the second live show of the series was the second time that Rachel Adedeji was in the bottom two, but yet again she pulled it off with her version of U2's 'With Or without you'. Meanwhile, Rikki's performance of 'Flying Without Wings' didn't impress the judges enough to keep him in the competition.
After performing her number one single 'Fight For This Love', Cheryl complained: "I can't believe John and Edward are still in and Rikki is going home."
Whitney Houston also performed her current single 'Million Dollar Bill'. In tribute to Whitney, favourite Danyl was asked to sing a track from Whitney Houston's new album, 'I Look To You'. He told ITV.com:
"Singing I didn't Know My Own Strength was extremely scary, because I really didn't know how the public would react to it. It's a brand new song from Whitney's forthcoming album, so the fact nobody had ever heard it before was pretty daunting, I thought people might be at home going: 'What's this? I don't recognise it, I'm not going to vote', so I'm incredibly pleased we seemed to pull it off... and incredibly grateful that people picked up the phone and voted."

Tomorrow night, The X Factor week 3 swings into Big Band week, with special guests Westlife and Michael Buble, who will both be performing songs from their new albums. While this is always a popular week, and maybe less difficult than Diva week, it's also a week in which some acts can lose their way when they try to change popular song arrangements too drastically. So to keep your favourite act in the competition, keep tuned, and keep voting.
