VideoW@tch - She has been compared to Madonna and the Beastie Boys. You may think you don't know Ke$ha, but she has already featured on a number one single, and worked with a string of big names.

After her songs featured in TV shows such as The Hills, Ke$ha, whose real name is Kesha Sebert, has sung backing vocals for Britney as well as co-writing "This Love" for The Veronicas and "The Time of Our Lives" for Miley Cyrus. Not to mention starring in Katy Perry's video for "I Kissed A Girl". However, Ke$ha's breakthrough came when she featured on the number one hit single "Right Round" with Flo Rida.

Recently she has been appearing with 3OH!3, and they have recorded a duet, "My First Kiss". Ke$ha is currently recording her debut album with Dr. Luke, Max Martin and Benny Blanco, who combined have worked with many of the current acts such as Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne and Pink.

As well as appearances on Flo Rida and Pitbull's albums, Ke$ha also appears on Taio Cruz's new single "Dirty Picture", which is released on November 22nd. Ke$ha's debut solo single "Tik Tok" has already been featured in 'Project Runway' and is set for release worldwide.

Ke$ha told Esquire how she came up with the lyrics: "I'll usually go out, have one fucking insane night, come home half-drunk, stumbling, and write down a few words. The next morning I'll wake up and be like, Whoa, this story needs to be told. Like this single I have out right now, called "TiK ToK": One morning I just woke up, and I live in this house with I-don't-even-know-how-many roommates - it's this Laurel Canyon house with seven rooms and roommates fluctuating monthly."
