- A-ha have announced that after 25 years on the music scene, they will no longer perform together after 2010. In the meantime, their world tour is about to visit the UK, and they release a new single 'Shadowside' from their current album 'Foot Of The Mountain'.

A-ha kicked off their 'Foot of the Mountain' tour last week in Cologne, Germany at the Lanxess Arena. The set included songs from seven of their albums, using some new arrangements on classics like 'Manhattan Skyline' and 'Velvet'. The band have described the mood in the arena as 'electric'.

The new single is one of three songs on the current album 'Foot Of The Mountain', that reflect guitarist and principal songwriter Paul Waaktaar-Savoy's emotional connection to his natural and adopted homelands. 'Shadowside', he says, "feels quite Norwegian – in the melody, the chords and the mood".

The video has been directed by the acclaimed German video director, Uwe Flade, who is responsible for music videos by Depeche Mode, Franz Ferdinand, and Rammstein.
