Going out - Not the actual Royalty my friends, I am of course talking about 'Making a Scene', November's 'Late' event at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Fancy doing something different this Friday 27th November? Then check this out!

Curated in association with Tim Redfern of Pride Legacy Project, Friday Late 'Making a Scene' taps the surface of Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans & Queer culture to celebrate making visible what for so long has been hidden. From clandestine liaisons to the joy of serendipity, the art of cruising to radical activism, 'Making a Scene' explores the relationship between sexuality, performance and public space.

V&A lates are usually spectacular nights, incorporating exhibition with exhibitionism - and what's better - it's FREE!

Highlights will include an Interventionist Soapbox with plenty of passionate speakers, a series of intimate performances exploring cottaging and personal encounters in a public space - called 'Cruising for Art'. There's an historical lecture from Oscar Wilde and gender queer life drawing classes with David Hoyle. There is also a full bar and DJ.

Late events are held on the last Friday in every month (except December) when the Museum is open from 10.00 to 22.00 with Friday Late events starting at 18.30.
