News - Big news this morning in Hollywood as the nominees for the 2010 Golden Globes were announced. Justin Timberlake, Inglourious Bastards actress Diane Kruger and The Office's John Krasinski all dressed up for the occasion in what looked like a scene from nominated Drama Mad Men or was Justin trying to copy Colin Firth's character from A Single Man?
The nominations were led by George Clooney film Up in the Air which scored seven nominations, two of them for best supporting actress. Musical Nine didn't live up to it's name but still ran off with five nominations while Tom Ford's debut A Single Man was good for nominations for best actor and actress for Colin Firth and Julianne Moore.
In the TV categories, Glee received nominations for three cast members, Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch. The show also received a nomination in the Best Comedy category. Neil Patrick Harris received a nomination for best supporting actor in How I met your Mother and veterans Sigourney Weaver and Jessica Lange both received nominations in the Best Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture for Television category. Weaver is nominated for her role in gay-themed Prayers for Bobby while Lange is nominated for her role in Grey Gardens.
The 2010 Golden Globes will be handed out on January 17th in Beverly Hills.
