QS brings you the skinny on who and what to look out for in 2010 on the small screen...

Glee

In a nutshell: And you thought High School Musical was camp? If Zac and co happened to be a guilty pleasure of yours then rejoice, for Glee is HSM for grown ups. Older, wiser and funnier, Glee was created by Ryan Murphy of Nip/Tuck fame, and if you caught a sneaky peek of the pilot on E4 recently then you'll know what to expect.

Gay Factor: Errrr, like a bunch of high school misfits and underdogs belting out the likes of Beyonce's Single Ladies and Broadway classics isn't gay enough for you?

When? E4, January

So You Think You Can Dance? / Got To Dance

In a nutshell: What is it with TV channels ripping each other's ideas off? Or is one simply trying to spoil the other's chances? Either way, if you're a fan of Strictly or Fame, you're in for a televisual treat in the new year. First up is US hit So You Think You Can Dance which not only sees Cat Deeley returning to our screens as the presenter but also Arlene Philips as a judge (take that Dixon!). Got To Dance, meanwhile is hosted by Davina McCall and features that bloke from Diversity and the errr, blonde one from the Pussycat Dolls on the judging panel. Let battle commence!

Gay factor: Arlene Phillips. Like, hello?

When? So You Think You Can Dance, BBC1, Jan 2; Got To Dance, Sky1, Jan 3
