... When a young man's fancies turn to the historic Ramble. The world's most famous flower pot, Central Park has been a gay cruising ground since the end of the 19th Century. In fact, during the 1920s the open lawn at the northern end of the Ramble was nicknamed "The Fruited Plain." On the first sunbathe-able day of Spring 2007, my friend Phil and I headed over to the Park to check on the budding trees and welcoming bushes. As you can see in the following photos, the Park -- and Phil -- are more than ready for the birds and the bees.
